The Glass Heart: -- In Robert Edward Levin's first book of short stories, there is one common strand: relationships --- broken ones. Relationships with people, with life, with oneself and how the interaction affects our whole lives. There are some poems and two eloquent essays on country, freedom and the concept of time. The stories have variety, wit and poignancy and deal with some serious issues but they are light. If you want quick, easy read, this is it. -- THE GLASS HEART (A Collection of Short Stories...and Such) is a compilation of contemporary short stories with a few poems thrown in. I would not consider this book to fall into the romance genre, which I mainly read, but did find it to be a nice read. Being a collection of short stories you would not have to read it all in one sitting, but could read it between other books. I look forward to reading other compilations put together by Robert Edward Levin. "-- Sandi Shilhanek, "The Best Reviews."
The Lizard And The Fly: -- Damn Good! -- What a great thriller- couldn't
put it down once I started!
